Artivest acquired by iCapital Network
We are very pleased to share that Fund I portfolio company Artivest is being acquired by iCapital Network.
The combined company is a foundational piece of the future of wealth and asset management distribution, providing direct, digital access for investors to alternatives across the return spectrum from income-oriented to private equity and venture capital funds.
Together, iCapital and Artivest will service more than $55b in client assets across approximately 650 funds, 115,000 accounts, and more than 70 white label partners.
FinTech Collective seeded Peter Thiel-backed Artivest in January 2015, and the company raised its Series A and B from KKR and other investors including Founders Fund, 8VC, RRE, Nyca, and Anthemis, amongst others.
iCapital raised $146m in March 2020 in a round led by PingAn Voyager Fund and shareholders including Blackrock (who took a significant minority stake), Blackstone, BNY Mellon, Carlyle Group, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Hamilton Lane, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, UBS, and other financial institutions as strategic investors and partners.
“We are pleased to reach an agreement with iCapital, which is well positioned to deliver the quality and continuity of client experience that is central to Artivest’s offering. We are confident that iCapital is the right service provider for our managers, advisors, and their clients.”
Martin Beaulieu, Chairman and CEO of Artivest
